## Data Sources

We aggregate and cross-reference data from multiple authoritative Slovak and EU registers to provide a comprehensive view of each entity.

- **RPO** (Register of Legal Entities, Primary source) – The primary register containing all legal entities in Slovakia. Synchronized on a weekly cycle.
- **ORSR** (Commercial Register, Enrichment) – Official commercial register at orsr.sk providing shareholders, statutory bodies, share capital, and business activities.
- **RegisterÚZ** (Register of Financial Statements, Tax data) – Source for tax identification numbers (DIČ). Cross-referenced with company IČO for tax data enrichment.
- **Finančná správa** (Financial Administration, VAT status) – Official list of VAT payers (IČ DPH) published by the Slovak Financial Administration. Updated weekly from published datasets.
- **EU VIES** (VAT Information Exchange System, Validation) – European Commission SOAP service for real-time validation of EU VAT numbers across all member states.

## Technology

FirmAPI is built with modern technologies including Laravel, Redis, and MySQL. We regularly aggregate data from the RPO (Register of Legal Entities), enrich it with ORSR details, tax IDs from RegisterÚZ, VAT payer status from Finančná správa, and validate through EU VIES.
