# Creditworthiness and company health

> The inputs for assessing a Slovak company: Social Insurance Agency debtors, tax arrears, insolvency and financial statements.

The question "can I supply this company on account?" has a concrete answer assembled from public data. It is not a score from a black box – it is a list of facts you can verify.

## The problem

The decision on payment terms is made by feel, or based on how the counterparty's website comes across. Yet the publicly available signals speak clearly: arrears on contributions, tax debt, bankruptcy proceedings under way.

And where the sources are checked at all, it happens once when the customer is created. The situation changes every month; the check does not.

## How FirmAPI solves it

One call returns the status across every risk list at once: Social Insurance Agency, tax debtors, insolvency, enforcement authorisations. The result can feed your own score or go straight into a limit.

Financial statements add a second dimension – revenue, result and equity over recent years. A company with no debt but three years of falling revenue is a different case from a debt-free company that is growing.

The combination translates into policy: terms granted automatically up to amount X, above X only after review, payment in advance on any appearance in a debtor list.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do you provide your own credit score?

No. We provide the underlying register data with the date it applies to. You build the score to your own risk policy – and you know exactly what it came from.

### How quickly does it show that a company has cleared its debt?

It depends on the source. Debtor lists update on a monthly cycle, insolvency and the journal faster. Every record carries the date it applies to.
