# Income tax registration

> Check whether an entity is registered for income tax with the Slovak Tax Authority. Available by company ID through a REST API.

Income tax registration is the basic record stating that an entity is on file with the tax administrator as a taxpayer. It is a simple boolean, but it is missing surprisingly often in automated counterparty screening.

## What the register contains
- Whether the entity is registered for income tax

## Fields we return

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `dsrdp_registered` | Whether the entity appears in the income tax registration record. |

## How to request the data

```http
GET /v1/company/ico/51636549?scope=fs_imports
{
  "fs": {
    "dsrdp_registered": true
  }
}
```

## How often we update

Daily, together with the other Tax Authority bulk exports.

## What it is used for

When screening a new supplier, income tax registration is the basic filter. An entity that invoices but does not appear in the record deserves a question before it gets a purchase order.

In signup forms it works as a quiet background check that does not slow the user down but flags the record for follow-up.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does false mean the entity pays no tax?

No. It means we did not find it in the latest published list. There are several possible reasons including publication lag, so treat it as a prompt to verify, not as a conclusion.

### Why is this only one value?

Because the source publishes only the fact of registration. Inventing further fields around it would claim more than the source contains.
